ETC Entertainment Central is a Philippine television channel produced and founded by Solar Entertainment Corporation which also created its sister stations, Solar TV, Universal Channel, Diva Universal, 2nd Avenue, Jack TV, Basketball TV, & Solar Sports. It is currently available over the Philippine FREE-TV after it had been pulled out from the cable TV, although it is still being aired via SkyCable & Global Destiny Cable channel 14, G Sat TV channel 4, Cablelink 12, Smart myTV and other affiliate cable companies in the Philippines.
It features talk shows, dating shows, sitcoms, drama series, reality shows and entertainment news from the United States. ETC sponsors other events, particularly parties around the Metro Manila area . These events are previously seen on Rated Oh!, They also promote upcoming movies.
As of January 1, 2008 ETC ceased to air over SkyCable as a channel on its own right. However, as part of block-time agreements with various terrestrial channels, ETC carries some of its programs over SBN 21, a terrestrial UHF TV Station in Metro Manila and selected cities in the Philippines. By March 2, 2011, ETC will move to RPN while SBN 21 changes to Talk TV.[1][2][3]
